From San Francisco or points south: Take I-80 East to the Buchanan St. exit (one after Gilman St.). Right off ramp at light. Left on San Pablo Ave. Go 1 block and go right on Solano Ave. Contine uphill to the top of Solano. At traffic light (Wells Fargo Bank and Starbucks) turn left onto Colusa. Go straight thru 4 way stop sign (stop first!). We are on the left before you come to a traffic circle.

From Sacramento and points east or north: From I-80 West take the Albany exit. Turn left at bottom of ramp. Follow road and merge onto Buchanan St. Follow Buchanan St. to San Pablo Ave. Left turn onto San Pablo Ave. Go 1 block and go right on Solano Ave. Contine uphill to the top of Solano. At traffic light (Wells Fargo Bank and Starbucks) turn left onto Colusa. Go straight thru 4 way stop sign (stop first!). We are on the left before you come to a traffic circle.

From Marin, Richmond or points west or north: Take I-580 East to the Buchanan St. exit (one after Central Ave.) THIS IS A LEFT EXIT! Turn left at traffic light onto Buchanan St. Follow Buchanan up to San Pablo. Left turn onto San Pablo Ave. Go 1 block and go right on Solano Ave. Contine uphill to the top of Solano. At traffic light (Wells Fargo Bank and Starbucks) turn left onto Colusa. Go straight thru 4 way stop sign (stop first!). We are on the left before you come to a traffic circle.

Via BART and /or AC Transit: The closest BART station is El Cerrito Plaza. Deep Color is located on AC Transit bus route #79, which originates at the El Cerrito Plaza BART station.

If coming from Oakland / Berkeley, take the #79 to one stop south of the Colusa Circle (cross street is Visalia) and walk across the street. If you're coming from El Cerrito Plaza BART station ask to be let off at the Colusa Circle and walk one block south on Colusa (in the direction the bus is traveling). *be patient with the bus. It typically runs every 30 minutes.

From the El Cerrito Plaza Bart station, we are approximately a 20 minute walk. Exit the station and walk East on Fairmount (the plaza will be on your right, BART station on your left as you gradually walk uphill), stop at Fatapples restaurant and get a pastry and coffee, then bear right onto Colusa heading south. Continue uphill with the school on your right, past the shops in the rotary, the grocery store, and we are on the right.
